Delete My Account

Option 1 — Delete from within the app

1. Open the CLVB app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
3. Confirm the deletion request with the OTP sent to your registered phone number.

Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately, and permanently removed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you can't access the app, email privacy@clvb.app from the address or with the phone number linked to your account, with the subject line "Delete My Account". We'll verify your identity and confirm once the deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — name, photos, date of birth, gender, and bio.
• Your phone number and login credentials.
• Match and chat history.
• Saved preferences, device tokens, and app activity linked to your account.

What we retain, and why

Some information cannot be deleted immediately because we are legally or contractually required to keep it:

• Transaction & payment records — retained as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.
• Booking history tied to a venue — venues may retain records of past bookings for their own accounting needs, independent of CLVB.
• Safety & moderation records — reports of abuse or policy violations involving your account may be retained to protect other users.

These retained records are kept only as long as required by law and are not used to re-activate your account or for any other purpose.

Venue partner accounts

If you manage a venue on the CLVB Partner app, deleting your personal account does not automatically delete the venue's booking or financial records — these belong to the venue and are retained per our Terms & Conditions. Contact partners@clvb.app to fully offboard a venue.
